Double Dutch

Founded by Dutch twins, these ladies have created some amazing mixers to be drunk on their own or paired with your favourite tipple. Needless to say, when I received my PR package, I was extremely excited to see what was inside.

With a brand that exists to double the energy, double the impact, and double the fun, these ladies have achieved that with their flavour combinations. Starting out with their signature Cucumber & Watermelon and Pomegranate & Basil these were created to bring mixers alive and pair perfectly with the vibrant spirits they are meant to be enjoyed with.

The Tonics

  • Indian Tonic Water
  • Skinny tonic Water

These are both perfect for your typical Gin & Tonic or Vodka Tonic, with ice and slice.

The Mixers

  • Cucumber & Watermelon
  • Pomegranate & Basil
  • Cranberry & Ginger
  • Pink grapefruit
  • Double Lemon

This is where Double Dutch get exciting! I absolutely LOVE their Cucumber & Watermelon and have been known just to drink this on its own. It’s beautiful and refreshing. Pomegranate & Basil and the Cranberry & Ginger go perfectly when paired with a Gin with the same botanicals but would probably mix well with a vodka too. The Pink Grapefruit and the Double Lemon, I’m yet to open, but I have high hopes for these and can’t wait to try it both on its own and as a mixer.

The Sodas

  • Margarita Soda

A mixer that’s already basically a mocktail, just add in your favourite spirit (in this case it should be tequila, but I used Gin…shhhhhh don’t tell everyone) garnish and serve. With a kick of chilli and lime this mixer is not for the faint hearted, but I bloody loved it. Click here if you want to see my Kicking Margatini Recipe. It also works perfectly just as a mocktail served over ice for those who don’t drink alcohol.

The Gingers

  • Ginger Ale
  • Ginger Beer

Both have their own little personalities and work great with ay spirits as a mixer or if you are like me just on their own.

Double Dutch are quickly becoming one of my go to mixer companies and even more so now that they are on the shelves in Tesco.
