Floc Taproom in Canterbury

Last weekend , Jack and I headed into Canterbury. It’s not very often we look for taprooms when we visit that side of the UK but while in the car, Jack was having a gander on his phone and came across Floc.

Like most brewery taprooms, Floc is based on an industrial estate, but oh my, you wouldn’t think it when you walk inside. It’s bright, vibrant, and a photographers dream.

With over 16 beers on tap, you’ll have plenty to choose from. Sadly I can’t review any of the beers this time as I was doing dry January at the time of this visit, but I’d highly recommended the local Kentish Pear juice. Jack tried two beers, which sadly I can’t remember their names.

They also offer freshly cooked pizzas, and I love the fact that you get the option to order small or a 13-inch. I ordered a small Fire to share just so we could try it. It came with nduja, ricotta, pepperoni and a tabasco drizzle. It came out piping hot and now I no why this one is called fire. It was spicey but the ricotta helped to calm the burn down. The perfect accompliment to a pint!!

If you are in the area, either visiting or living around there and haven’t been, I highly recommend a visit. It’s a perfect spot for a beer lover and somewhere just to meet up with friends or family to catch up.
