I was excited to learn that we have a new delivery service in town. Now I love a good old Pick’n’Mix, so what’s better than being able to have one delivered to the comfort of your own home? The BonBon Boys are doing just this in our little part of Dorset, but don’t worry no matter where you are in the UK your be able to get your fill of the sweet stuff.
The BonBon Boys consist of Kalem and Joe, two young Dorset based guys who love all things sweet things. They have started up a business offering three 9″ boxes full of all confectionaries you could dream off – The Classic, The Vegan, The Retro.
I was lucky enough to be gifted ‘The Classic’ Box and it takes me back to my childhood of choosing what to put in my Pick’n’Mix bag while walking around Woolworths. Yes that’s a few years ago now! Who else tried to nick the sweets instead of putting them in your paper bag? With free delivery straight to your door in the Poole and Bournemouth areas, the boxes come freshly delivered and beautifully wrapped. I would definitely recommend this box to someone who loves jelly style sweets. There are a few others things in there though so there is something for everyone. To be fair I’m not much of a jelly sweet fan so those have been palmed off to others in the household, while I enjoy some of my childhood favourites. I loved trying to work out what the Rhubarb & Custards were and whether all colours were the same flavour or not. The foam banana’s just didn’t last long enough and for me I’d like a few more as they are my favourite sweet.

If I was to order from these guys again I would definitely order ‘The Retro’ box as the sweets seem to be a bit more me. At the end of the day though you can’t please everyone so it’s not against these two guys, just my taste buds.
