I came across Harbour Q via another blog when looking up places to eat in and around St Austell. After finding their Instagram feed it wasn’t long before it ended up on my MUST visit list for summer staycation.
Harbour Q is an outside BBQ and street food shack, based on the harbour of Charlestown. It’s run by The Longshore Steak & Seafood, a Cornish based company who have restaurants the other side of the harbour in Charlestown and in Truro. Being a outside shack, Harbour Q only operate during the summer and is weather dependent. No one likes to sit eating a lovely plate of food in the pouring rain right?
So what do these guys have on the menu? Slow cooked meat, tacos, fish, dirty fries, veggie options and soft serve ice cream. It’s a food lover’s heaven! I could have easily ordered a few things from the menu; however knew I would not be able to eat it all. In the end as there were two of us we went with:
What else is it that you need with food though? Good drink I hear you say? Well let’s just say the Frozen Margaritas did not disappoint that we ended up ordering two each and yes I did keep one of their funky plastic cups. Everyone needs a keepsake on holiday right?
Will I visit this place again? Will I heck! Delicious, a great place and to be fair if their food shack is great, I can only imagine what The Longshore Steak & Seafood Restaurant is like!
