I’m not sure about anyone else but I love it when the festive lights come on outside and businesses start getting out their Xmas menus and Urban Garden in Bournemouth covers these. Situated in the middle of Bournemouth gardens, you have the atmosphere of both the Bournemouth Christmas Market and Lights, alongside a beautifully decorated restaurant.
A few weeks back I was invited along to sample their festive cocktails and Christmas food menu’s and oh my you must visit!
The Festive Drinks Menu
We were kindly given the option of having two cocktails from their new festive menu and I opted for the Winter Fizz and the Cranberry Gin Spritz. Both of course had some sort of gin in! My favourite out of the two though? The Cranberry Gin Spritz. It was fruity, sweet, and full of festive garnish.
The Christmas Menu Canapes
We got to try the following from the Christmas Menu and my god, I was stuffed afterwards!
- Tempura Haddock
- Carrot, Ginger & Turmeric Soup
- Roasted Beetroot Salad
- Braised feather Blade Beef in Yorkshires with Horseradish
- Roasted Cauliflower
- Berry Pavlova
- Cheesecake
My favourite was the Braised feather Blade Beef in Yorkshires with Horseradish. Safe to say I nearly finished the whole plateful with a little help from a friend.
This is somewhere to make a stop if you want a nice meal out somewhere warm after a mooch around the Christmas Lights.
